The Norther Gate

The Kitaguchi Shrine, or shrine of hte Northern Gate of Mount
Fuji, was once the starting place for many travelers.  It is located
in the forest on the edge of Fujiyhoshida at the foot of Mount Fuji.
 Now it is mostly a shrine catering to the people of Fujiyoshida.  
This businessman is here to have his new truck blessed to
prevent accidents.
