POLITICAL INSANITY

Manifest destiny is a disgusting excuse
For man to justify the brutality of their hand!
For the dynamics of their dogmatic righteousness,
Will be the fall of the unity of man

War in the end - leaves proposals for peace
Later broken with a treaty of greed.

For peace is temporary in a world that cannot accept it in its totality
For every individual must agree
For that reason will never be.
For humanity is incapable of an idealistic society

Religion and Politics they always go hand in hand
With war always being a means to an end

This type of brutality is hard to comprehend
When both are supposed to be led by righteous men.

Keep the peace
But if we're threatened search and destroy becomes our mission
We're not always heroes
Sometimes we are unjust invaders acting with the mentality of a crusader
With the belief it's all or the better.

Hypocrites of justice.
When the innocent victims are labeled collateral damage
To justify ourselves through the news coverage.

The masks of war can deceive
Making you think it's better for humanity
But how can something that makes your brother bleed
Be good for you or good for me?

Everybody asks,
"What's the matter with the world today?"
Every Generation has had its say.
My explanation.  Growing pains.
A side effect of human games.
